Usage Area |
1. DBE is mainly used for PCM & Can coating application.
a. Leveling and Pin hole Due to the high boiling point, DBE is good for better leveling condition. And also it can be control the pin hole phenomenon. (baking temperature of PCM is 230 degree) b. Pick-up property In the case of roll coating system, the remained paint should go up on the surface of roller. Even DBE is not sticky solvent, it has good pick up properties. 2. Adhesive Mainly used for epoxy based adhesive. a. solubility DBE is good for polyester and epoxy based resin system. b. Toluene and Xylene are main solvent for adhesive application (especially wood flooring ) So DBE is good for environmental friendly products. In Europe, DBE is already registered as environmental friendly solvent. 3. High boiling point solvent a. Automotive, can coating, PCM b. Gravure ink application. 4. Other application of DBE a. agricultural medicine application. The agricultural medicine is remained on the leaf due to the BP of DBE. b. Cleaning solvent c. Plasticizer |
